Single-vineyard wine from a very old vineyard of Mencía and some other local varieties (about 15%, mainly Palomino, Godello and Doña Blanca).
Very light structure and a precise balance, very light in color with an intense nose of fresh red fruit, currants, sour strawberries and raspberries, with balsamic notes and something medicinal. Low in alcohol, elegant, subtle, invigoratingly clean and tantalizing on the palate, with a very lively finish.

Vineyard |
Very old vineyard located in Cobrana, a small town in the high Bierzo. This place, at an altitude of 750 meters, has an intriguing soil composition of highly degraded blue slate with red clay, one of the cooler areas in Bierzo where the grapes do not reach their ripeness until very late in the season. Old vines, 90-100 years old. |
