Our history
"de Lange" was founded in 1996 by Dolf ten Houte de Lange and is actually a continuation of the company that his grandfather founded in 1878 in Haarlem under the name Verkruijse & de Lange. Dolf sold the family business in 1989 to a large importer, to start work there. But blood was thicker than water, and in 1996, he decided to start again on his own. The philosophy became: specialist work with small family domains, where quality comes first. In 2008 Paul Frankhuizen, who had worked for de Lange since 1998, became co-owner and in 2016 Dolf sold his remaining shares to Paul. "de Lange" moved in 2018 from the Brabant town of Oosterhout to the adjacent town of Breda and has been based here ever since.
Our wines
From the beginning, we strive to continuously find the best wines in each region. Wines that are characterised by their unique high quality and that are also made by passionate winemakers with respect for nature and the environment. In short, wines that can charm the lover of a perfect glass of wine. Wines mostly from family domains that, like us, put quality, respect for nature, grapes and terroir first.

Our wines create the perfect match for the refined dishes they present. Our range includes more than 300 wines from the most beautiful regions, from the best producers. The wines find their way to the cellars of the gastronomy and wine lovers in the Netherlands.

"de Lange" is a wine importer with employees who share their passion for wine and have plenty of professionalism, both in terms of training and experience.
