About the winemaker
The Azienda Agricola Russo is located in the municipality of Suvereto in southern Tuscany. From the hills in the vineyards, the sea and the island of Elba are clearly visible. Not without reason, well-known wineries such as Tua Rita and Gualdo del Re are also located here. The Russo family has been active in viticulture for four generations, but they have only been bottling their own wines since 1998. In addition to the vineyards, the family owns a nine-hectare olive grove and a large herd of dairy cattle. A nice example of a classic Italian farm where Michele Russo is responsible nowadays.

| Vineyard | The designation of origin is IGT Tuscany, but the vineyards are located in the DOC Val di Cornia near the village of Suvereto. This valley is characterized by the sea breeze that brings coolness during the day. That the vineyards are ideally suited to international varieties like cabernet and merlot has been proven by neighbor Tua Rita for years. |
