About the winemaker
When Jacques Thienpont visited the Chateau Goubau in 2015, he was immediately convinced that there was enormous potential for the domain. He decided to purchase it with his sister, Anne de Rayemaeker, as an investment for the Thienpont family. Not long after, they also bought the adjacent chateau and thus a new adventure was born for this wine family. All the vineyards are farmed organically and the wines are certified organic. Maxime Thienpont, who grew up at Chateau Labegorce Zédé in Margaux is in charge.
