Marchesi di Gresy | Italy | Piemonte |
Vineyard | Unique wine from a unique vineyard. The Martinenga vineyard is nearly 12 acres and wholly owned by the di Gresy family. The south-southwest exposure at 220 to 290 meters above sea level, like an amphitheater, makes for three unique wines. |

Vinification | After a peel soak of 8 to 10 days, the alcoholic fermentation is followed by the malolactic. Aging in barrique (new and 1 year old) lasts 12 months, followed by another 12 months of aging in Slavonian oak. The wine remains in bottle for 12 months after bottling before it is allowed to leave the cellar. |
