About the winemaker
Tenuta di Collosorbo can be found in the hills of Sant'Angelo in Colle, the beautiful village not far from Montalcino. Here Giovanna Ciacci started her own domain in 1995 with part of the vineyards of the family domain founded in 1850. The Ciacci family is an important name in Montalcino and has a lot to do with the appellation of origin. Already in 1966, the year of the foundation of the "Consorzio", they started bottling the wines and they immediately received the DOC label. As written, Giovanna started her own domain in 1995 and her daughters Laura and Lucia assist in both cellar and vineyard.
