About the winemaker Claude Courthil produces with his two sons, David and Jerôme on his small domain a very typical and affordable Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The vineyard property, of 10 hectares, is located mainly north of the village. In the very rocky vineyards, Claude can usually be found. Claude is a very reserved man and almost never talks about his relationship with his famous uncle Henri Bonneau. Bonneau is not only his uncle, but also his teacher

Vineyard	The vineyard measures 10 hectares and the soil is rich in clay, limestone, sandy marl and with a top layer of stones and rocks. The vines average 65 years of age.
Vinification	Grenache resides largely in large concrete vats. Syrah and mourvèdre lag in large wooden barrels (demi-muids) where there is a mix of new and used wood.
