About the winemaker One of the most notable and small domains in Montalcino is the domain of the HÃ¤rri family. Pablo HÃ¤rri from Switzerland and Claudia Ferrero from Piedmont came to Montalcino in the early 1980s. They met while working on a large wine estate in Montalcino. One thing led to another. First of all the 3 daughters: Silvia, Giulia and Pepita. At the same time they bought a house in Podera Pascena, in the southern part of the Montalcino appellation. This is where the history of this small winery began in 2009.

Details

Vineyard	Montalcino (Siena), Sant'Angelo in Colle. Hilly lands at about 250m above sea level. The soil is rich in clay and has low fertility. The planting is 4600 sticks per ha.
Vinification	After a manual harvest, in which the best bunches are selected, fermentation on the skins for 20 days at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. 3 Years of aging in oak barrels of 10 hl followed by aging in the bottle.
