Like the white wines of Lavantureux, the red wine is also a well-structured, rich wine. Clear pinot noir fruit in the nose and a nice influence of the wood aging. Rich full flavor with dark fruit and a long finish.

Vineyards were planted between 1969 and 1978. The soil consists of a "kimmeridge" terroir, the typical limestone for which Chablis is also known. The vineyards were planted at the time by the grandparents of David and Arnaud. |
