Vineyard | The grapes for this wine come from a vineyard some 80 kilometers from Stellenbosch with a strongly slatey soil. The vineyard is only 0.6 hectares and was formerly planted with sweet potatoes, hence the name. The grapes from the vineyard were first used by Chris Alheit for his Carthology, but due to the distance between the vineyard and his winery, he handed the vineyard over to Reenen. |
