About the winemaker In the 1930s, Daniele Venica started this domain. Together with son Adelchi, he built up the domain and then passed it on to the next generations in the family. The domain is now under the leadership of the fourth generation. Giampaolo Venica has access to over 32 hectares of vineyards in the eastern part of Friuli, on the border with Slovenia.

Details

Vineyard	Sourced from vineyards located in Cerò in the DOC Collio. The vineyard has a soil with marl and sandstone and is the basis of the wine estate. This is where Daniele Venica started the estate in the 1930s. Striking southern exposition, allowing a lot of sunshine and this ensures the ripe character of the wine.
Vinification	After harvest, the grapes are completely destemmed. The must is then left in contact with the skins for 18-20 hours. 10% of the wine stays on the lie for 6 months in wooden barrels of different sizes and the rest in stainless steel barrels.
