About the winemaker
The most talked about and undoubtedly most famous domain from the village of Meursault is Domaine Coche-Dury. Worldwide, Raphaël Coche's wines are considered to be among the absolute top of white Burgundy and he himself is one of the best white winemakers in the world. The domain owns about 11 hectares of vineyards, the vast majority of which is located in the Meursault appellation. Famous are the Premier Cru's Les Perrières, Genevrières and Les Caillerets. Outside Meursault, he also owns a vineyard in the Grand Cru Corton Charlemagne, the cult wine of the domain. The other vineyards can be found in Volnay, Monthélie, Auxey-Duresses and Puligny Montrachet .

| Vineyard | The domain owns just over 0.5 hectares on this lieu-dit in the appellation Puligny-Montrachet. The vineyard was planted between 1930 and 1952 and the vineyard was purchased in 1985, making it one of the last additions to the range. The soil consists mainly of clay and limestone. |
