| Vineyard | Wine from a vineyard in Swartland, whose soil is rich in shale. The vineyard is located on Riebeek Mountain and was clearly the favorite vineyard out of the five choices, which were there for a Cinsault wine. |

| Vinification | After harvest, there is a rigorous selection to take out both unripe and overripe grapes. The bunches are then fully fermented in an open vat and twice daily there is a punchdown. After a month the grapes are pressed in a basket press and then the wine goes into oak barrels for a year. The yield is 28hl/ha and the wine is neither clarified nor filtered and is best decanted before drinking. |
