Vinification | In the cellar of Changarnier, the wines are made according to traditional vinification methods. All wines reside in French oak barrels, for the premier cru's slightly more new oak (about 30%) is used. For this wine, about 30% of the barrels were new and the grapes were destemmed after entry. The first fermentation took place on concrete for 3 months. After this an upbringing in oak for 10 months. |
