The winemaker

Winemaker Country Region
Domaine Jean Sipp France Elzas
About the winemaker Jean Jacques Sipp was the director of the family estate since 1973, after completing his studies at the University of Avize. Over the years, he has acquired a renowned style of vinification, the basic principles of which are respect for grape and nature. These basic principles are the foundation for excellent wines. Today, his son Jean Guillaume, after apprenticeships with Guigal, Mont-Redon, Zind-Humbrecht, Olivier Leflaive and various companies in New Zealand, Chile and South Africa, among others, is in charge of vinification. His style of vinification is entirely in keeping with the other young winemakers in Alsace. A modern style with refined acidity and wines, which fit perfectly with today's gastronomy.
