Vineyard | This wine is named after a small hill in the Russo family's vineyards, where a plant grows called Ceppite in Italian. The designation of origin is IGT Tuscany, but the vineyards are in the DOC Val di Cornia near the village of Suvereto. |

Vinification | After the manual harvest (65 hl/ha) is the first peel soaking and fermentation on stainless steel. After malolactic fermentation, there is both oak (3rd and 4th year for 6 months), and stainless steel aging. The wine is bottled in the month of June following the harvest. |
