About the winemaker Bodega Pujanza is a domain of Carlos San Pedro and he has his vineyards around Laguardia in Rioja Alavesa. In total about 40 hectares of vineyards in a radius of 4 kilometers. Carlos started the winery with the land, the soil and the historical, unique values of the Rioja region as a starting point. That is why he has chosen to work only with tempranillo and viura. The grapes are planted on the different vineyards and the wines are made per vineyard, with the exception of the Hado. This wine comes from 23 different plots.

Details

Vineyard	A wine made from grapes coming from single-vineyard, which in 1989 was completely replanted with only viura. The vineyard (3.5 hectares) has a soil with mainly calcareous clay and a high calcium content.
Vinification	After cold maceration, vinification follows, with alcoholic fermentation taking place on stainless steel. After three days, the wine is transferred to 225 and 500 liter oak barrels, where it stays for 12 months.
