Camille et Guillaume Boillot

One of the newest domains in Burgundy! This domain was created in 2022 and belongs to Guillaume Boillot and Camille Boillot-Violot. Guillaume is the son of Henri Boillot and has been responsible for the vinification of the red wines and the vineyards at this family estate since 2012. His father Henri retired in 2020 and has been in charge of the family estate ever since. Camille is the 5th generation of a winemaking family from Pommard. Together with the four children of the family, she learns the tricks of the trade from Guillaume and this domain will soon be considered one of the absolute top of Burgundy. They own one vineyard on the Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères and a vineyard for Bourgogne chardonnay in the municipality of Puligny.

Camille & Guillaume Boillot

In 2022, Camille and Guillaume started their domain in Meursault. Camille comes from a wine family in Pommard and we know Guillaume from his family estate Henri Boillot. Guillaume has made all red wines here since 2012 and, from 2020, also all white wines. The wines at this new family estate are made almost identically in style to those at the family estate. Vinification integral for the red wines and a classic white wine making for the white wines. The difference is the élevage, which is slightly shorter and the wines are therefore slightly more refined in style. The vineyards work organically with a biodynamic approach.

Corton-Renardes Grand Cru 2020

Rich dense crimson. The bouquet also shows a depth of ripe plum and red fruit, with a good crystalline backbone. Rich complex fruit, with the wilder Renardes character. Lovely long aftertaste with a glossy rather than tannic finish.

Meursault 1er Cru Charmes 2022

A single 500 litre barrel. A little more concentration but the same almost opaque white fruit domination, then notable power and energy behind, excellent integration of the acidity, tightly wound with very good dry extract.

Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Le Cailleret 2022

Beautiful light yellow, with a slight reduction that flares out and reveals a small hint of lime blossom. The wood has quite a firm grip on the finish, but this will naturally disappear over time as the fruit emerges again. Very stylish, long and fine.

Puligny-Montrachet Les Enseignères 2022

The wine has many green tones such as lime and green pear in the aroma and taste, as well as of course brioche, hazelnut and clear tones of the wood storage. The wine has a rather linear but rich attack with a good acidity.
