Both brothers were brought up on wine. Both had an education at Geisenheim and impressive internships. The brothers believe in their ideas and are not afraid to work and think outside the box. Why should Cabernet Sauvignon or Chardonnay not be possible in Rheinhessen? Philipp learned to work with the former grape during his internship at Verité in Sonoma County, a place where you don't get an internship for nothing. The house receives top marks from international journalists and only three internships a year are distributed here. It is obvious that the men can also work with Riesling and Silvaner. Perhaps this is due to Christopher's internship with Hans-Oliver Spanier of the famous Battenfeld-Spanier.
