Günter and Regina Triebaumer have, after some wanderings around the world, found their place in Rust in the Burgenland region of Austria. Both have a good education and have been involved in viticulture from an early age. All the family's vineyards are located in the municipality of Rust, where the soil composition is quite different. In the north the soil is more loamy, suitable for planting blaufränkisch and sauvignon blanc. In the west the soil is more mineral and suitable for Merlot and Syrah, while in the south the terroir is more sandy and here Zweigelt comes into its own. In the vineyards and the cellar they work completely organically, without being certified. They are also one of the members of the "no sex for butterflies" project. A project in which they use pheromones to combat a butterfly that is harmful to the vineyards. Also in the cellar we work very consciously. No animal products are used and depending on the wine they choose stainless steel or oak casks. In order to concentrate the must of the red wines, only the "free-run juice" is removed. In years that it is possible, there is of course an Ausbruch (high quality sweet and typical Austrian) made.
