Allocations & En Primeur
On this section of the website we from time to time offer our wine club members the opportunity to add exclusive and highly sought-after wines to their wine cellar. Some of our wines are so popular that we do not want to offer them publicly on the website. We prefer to offer our loyal wine club members the opportunity to add these wines to their cellar on this closed section of the website. Think of exclusive white and red Burgundies, vintage champagnes, the top of South African wines. Wines of which we sometimes only have a few bottles available. Bourgogne Côte d'Or rouge

Refined opulent Bourgogne Rouge. The wine has a beautiful ruby red color. Ripe red fruit in smell and taste, good balance and fine tannin.

Lighter color, with a detailed nose with zest and gooseberry. Richly ripe fruit in the mouth, intense minerality and an energetic long finish.

What does allocations mean?
Wijnkooperij de Lange's range partly consists of very exclusive wines. Wines that will delight the lover of a perfect glass of wine. Wines often from winemakers who, like us, put quality, respect for nature, grape and terroir first. Some of these winemakers make wines on a very small scale and we are happy to offer these as a priority to our loyal customers. It is not possible for us to purchase additional wines, which is why we allocate them to loyal customers who previously purchased the wines.
How about en Primeur?
Once it is known how many bottles of a particular wine we can purchase, we will offer them to our wine club members on this section of the website. If there is more demand than supply, we reserve the right to distribute the wines among the customers who have signed up. Relationships who have previously purchased wines will be given priority to purchase the wines. After a few days, these wines are offered to the entire wine club. These wines are offered before the wines have arrived in the Netherlands and are always delivered later.
