Ripe fruit like cherries and other red fruits, but certainly also floral notes. The oak ageing is beautifully incorporated in the wine and in balance with the fruit. This is definitely a benchmark for South Africa.

| Vineyard | The fruit for this wine comes from a north-facing vineyard high in the Hemel-and-Earth Valley. The soil is quite poor and has a lot of clay-rich and stony character with Bokkeveld shale. |
