About the winemaker
Günter and Regina Triebaumer have settled in Rust, Burgenland after many wanderings around the world. The country where they were born and their families have been active in viticulture for generations. They have made wine and gained experience in South Africa, among other places. The Burgenland region is mainly known for its red and dessert wines. Together they are responsible for the 25 hectares of vineyards, which they cultivate with great respect for nature, grape and terroir. They have never used herbicides or insecticides. In fact, for years they have been closely involved in the project no sex for butterflies. A project that uses insects to combat other harmful insects. The winery is not certified organic, but all the conditions for this are met. No animal products are used in the entire vinification, so the wines fit into a vegan diet.

| Vineyard | The vineyards are located in the north and northwest of the Rust district. The soils here consist mainly of loam, löss and loamy lime. These soil types are ideal for white grapes, but also certainly for blaufränkisch or zweigelt. |

| Vinification | At Triebaumer, the harvest is done entirely manually. The grapes for this wine are picked in late September, early October. After the harvest, the grapes are destemmed and fermentation takes place. The malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, the maturation in large oak casks. |
