Roc Breïa Pinot noir 2024
Roc BreïaA real pinot noir, juicy lots of red fruit with some cherry fruit and raspberries. The taste is rich with a certain spiciness and fine tannin. Already drinkable young, but cellaring for a few years will certainly improve the wine.

About the winemaker
Roc Breïa is a unique project in the Macon region in Burgundy. This domain in the village of Bray has been under the inspiring leadership of Théo Dancer since 2021. Théo has big plans for this domain and the first crops have shown that top quality can be made here in Bray. The vineyards are organically farmed, in the cellar only oaks and amphorae are used and as little sulphite as possible.

Details
| Vineyard | The vineyards of this domain are located in the north of the Macon region near the village of Bray. In total there is more than 10 hectares which are completely organically farmed. The vineyards of the pinot noir sticks are younger than the chardonnay. Pinot was planted between 1970 and 1985. Roc Breïa's vines face west and it is a windy place, so there are few problems with disease. |

| Vinification | Half of the grapes are pressed whole-bunch and the fermentation and lagering is in large wooden barrels of 500 liters. The wine stays in the barrels for 12 months. A small amount of sulphite is only added just before bottling. |
