About the winemaker
Het domein ROWSE is gelegen in het hart van de gemeente Fleurie en heeft zo'n 7,5 hectare aan wijngaarden met een bodem rijk aan graniet. De wijngaarden zijn in conversie naar biologische wijnbouw en worden bewerkt onder toeziend oog van Guillaume Boillot van het Domaine C & G Boillot in Meursault.

From the top to the bottom of the slopes, each bunch of grapes benefits from its altitude, the sun and the wind. The rainwater runs off forcing the vine to dig deep into the soil. Manual harvest, in small cases of 13 kg. Careful manual sorting of each grape. Average yield 42hl / ha. |

| Vinification |
Parcel by parcel vinification in small tanks (50hl). Cold maceration (no addition of sulfur) with one part of whole bunches and one part of destalked bunches, followed by rather long fermentation (8-12 days) to allow the terroir aromas to emerge. Gentle punching of the cap. 20% ageing in mature oak barrels (3 to 5 years old barrels), to enrich the silky, velvety texture without sacrificing finesse. 80% Is matured for the 10 to 12 months in small tanks to maximal preserve the freshness.
