This Pommard has everything that Pommard is known for. Dark black fruit with a lot of power, but still elegant. Very concentrated and balanced. Impressive wine.

This wine comes from Chanlins-Hauts and that is Village. From 2022, more vineyards have been acquired and these will first be marketed under the "négoce label". |

| Vinification | The vinification at Thibaud is highly dependent on the vintage. Vinification entière one year and no vinification the next, use of new oak depends on the appellation of origin etc. This premier cru is for 20% raised on new oak. The upbringing in 228 liter oak barrels is 12 months and after this the wine stays on tank for another 4 months after blending. In 2019, 20% of the bunches were not de-stemmed. |
