About the winemaker One of the most notable and small domains in Montalcino is the domain of the HÃ¤rri family. Pablo HÃ¤rri from Switzerland and Claudia Ferrero from Piedmont came to Montalcino in the early 1980s. They met while working on a large wine estate in Montalcino. One thing led to another. First of all the 3 daughters: Silvia, Giulia and Pepita. At the same time they bought a house in Podera Pascena, in the southern part of the Montalcino appellation. This is where the history of this small winery began in 2009.
