Impressive dry chenin of the Zerzilles, which is the name of the cadastral parcel. Energetic with minerality, beeswax and stone fruit. Wood aging in the background with good acidity. Powerful and ability to age. Superbe foodwine.

Delicious with lightly smoked salmon and firm sea fish (sea bass), whether or not served with sesame and bok choy.

About the winemaker Château de Plaisance has been owned by the Rochais family until 2019. In this year it was Vanessa Cherruau who took over the domain with her team and continued on the road set by the Rochais family. From 1995 they worked organically and from 2008 even fully biodynamically. There is a total of 25 hectares of vineyard, of which 20 hectares are planted with chenin blanc. In the vineyard, the vines are "listened" carefully and biodiversity is encouraged. The approach in the cellar is the same, little to no intervention and no use of additives, only small amounts of sulphite.

Vineyard	The vineyards for this wine can be found on the eastern slopes of the estate, straddled on Chaume, on a steep slope of 35°. The soil consists of sandstone schistes. Vines planted in the early 1970s.
Vinification	Hand harvested grapes in small crates. Slow cold pressing and natural yeasts. 100% aged in old Burgundy barrels. Ageing 12 months, partial malolactic fermentation.
