About the winemaker
Pierre-Vincent Girardin is the 13th generation of winemakers in his family. From an early age, Pierre could be found in his father's cellar or vineyards. His father sold the family estate in 2011, leaving behind 4.5 hectares of his best vineyards to pass on to his son. From then on, Pierre-Vincent was trained and in 2017 he launched the first wines under his own name. According to many international wine writers, he should be counted among the greatest talents of Burgundy. Pierre has access to an impressive acreage of vineyards in both the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, several villages, Premier Cru's and Grand Cru's come from the state-of-the-art wine cellar in Meursault. The working method is according to the rules of organic viticulture.
