This Volnay is a classic example of the appellation, very elegant, beautiful red fruit in aroma and taste and a fine long finish. Wonderful example of the class of the Pinot Noir grape.

| Vinification | The vinification at Thibaud is highly dependent on the vintage. Vinification entière one year and no vinification the next, use of new oak depends on the appellation of origin etc. This Volnay Village, however, never has new oak. The upbringing in 228 liter oak barrels is 12 months and after this the wine stays on tank for another 4 months after blending. In 2019, all the bunches were de-stemmed. Six barrels made in 2019. |
