About the winemaker Giulia Negri comes from a family where wine has been made for over 150 years. When she started her own estate she was quickly dubbed the "Barologirl". She sailed her own course and in her small cellar made wines the way she wanted to make them. Wines from nebbiolo of course, but also from barbera, pinot noir and chardonnay. Her wines are very precise and the tannin structure is amazing. Giulia is a great of her region and the area of Serradenari is her home.

Vineyard	The vineyards of Giuli Negri are all located around La Morra. La Tartufia comes specifically from vineyards in La Morra, Brunate and Serradenari. Here at 460 meters altitude the soil consists of clay, loam and sand.
Vinification	The vinification starts spontaneously on 60 hl large barrels with a maceration of about 40 days. After this is the upbringing on 25 hectoliter large wooden barrels of Slovenian oak. The aging process is 24 months.
